FRESNO – A Fresno County man alleges his name was not added to a property's title per an agreement.

Marshall Strang filed a complaint on June 8 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Juan Ramirez and Does 1-20 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on Feb. 19, 2013, Strang and Ramirez entered into a partnership on the property of defendant at 2146 Tammy Lane in Selma. Plaintiff paid a total of $4,250 for his half ownership in the home, the suit states.

The plaintiff holds Ramirez and Does 1-20 responsible because defendant Ramirez allegedly refused to perform his duty and obligation of conveying to plaintiff one-half ownership in the property by adding the plaintiff's name to the title of the property.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $100,000, punitive damages, a decree and judgment that plaintiff is the owner of one-half of undivided interest in the property, an order that the property be partitioned by sale and all further relief as the court deems proper. He is represented by David M. Hogue and Michael G. Karby of H & K Inc. Attorney At Law in Dinuba.
