FRESNO — An employee is suing a Fresno company, alleging discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, retaliation, sexual discrimination and sexual harassment.

Kimberly Wheeler filed a complaint July 17 in Fresno County Superior Court against Great Vacations Inc., Andrew Melilli, Wes Rowland and Does 1 through 50, alleging they made sexually discriminatory remarks regarding the plaintiff's work.

According to the complaint, Wheeler, who started work for Great Vacations as a blog specialist before being promoted to group manager,  suffered damages from having her work hours reduced. The plaintiff alleges the defendants retaliated against her when she complained about a hostile working environment.

Wheeler seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages, punitive and exemplary damages, legal fees, interest, and any other relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorney John Waterman of Tryk Law PC in Fresno.
