LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles apparel company is suing garment vendors, alleging copyright infringement.
A Plus Fabric Inc. filed a complaint Sept. 7 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Pacific Sunwear of California LLC, Pacific Sunwear Stores LLC and Does 1-10, alleging the defendants illegally copied and reproduced the plaintiff's fabric designs.
According to the complaint, A Plus Fabric suffered damages from having its designs copied without authority. The plaintiff alleges the defendants illegally sell garments made out of fabrics that bear A Plus Fabric's designs.
A Plus Fabric seeks trial by jury, enjoin the defendant, all profits, statutory damages, legal fees, interest and all other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorney C. Yong Jeong of Jeong & Likens LC in Los Angeles.
