Fresno County car owner alleges company refuses to return his vehicle

FRESNO — A Fresno County vehicle owner is suing an automobile restoration company, alleging breach of contract.

Robert Allison of Clovis filed a complaint Nov. 7 in Fresno County Superior Court against Enrique Jaurique Jr., also known as Rick Jaurico, JTSC doing business as Jauricos's Customs and Restorations, et al., alleging they violated the Business and Profession Code in refusing refusal to return the vehicle to the owner.

According to the complaint, in 2013, Allison took his 1964 Porsche to the defendants to perform restoration services. Allison says he paid $16,000 for the work but after several months of delay, he failed to receive any updates or return of his vehicle, ddespite repeated requests.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to surrender the vehicle and parts notwithstanding, that little to no work has been done on the vehicle and failed to meet the requirements of business and professions code as the repair dealer failed to give the customer a written estimated price for labor and parts necessary for the specific job.

Allison seeks trial by jury, the return and possession of the property, compensatory, exemplary and punitive damages, and all other relief the court deems just or proper. He is represented by attorneys H. Ty Kharazi and Nicholas E. Aniotzbehere of Yarra Law Group in Fresno.
