FRESNO — A motorist is suing another driving, alleging his negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.
Jasmyn Luong filed a complaint Dec. 15 in Fresno County Superior Court against Darell Earl Brown and Does 1-25, alleging failure to exercise standard care and skill in the operation of a motor vehicle.
According to the complaint, on Dec. 15, 2017, Luong was driving at the intersection of North Brawley Avenue and Belmont Avenue in Fresno. The suit says Brown's car ran a stop sign and crashed into the front end of Luong's vehicle. Luong says she suffered physical injuries, loss of wages, loss of use of property and incurred hospital and medical expenses.
The plaintiff alleges Brown failed to adequately maintain and operate a motor vehicle so as not to cause harm, failed to be on a proper lookout for other vehicles and failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection.
Luong seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages of more than $25,000, costs of suit and all fair and just relief. She is represented by attorneys Ognian Gavrilov and Richard Silvestri of Gavrilov & Brooks in Sacramento.
