LOS ANGELES — A Glendale man is suing a skin care company, alleging copyright infringement.

Edgar Babayan filed a complaint Jan. 18 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Allen Yeganian, Honest Creams LLC and Does 1-10, alleging illegal use of the plaintiff's commercial property.

According to the complaint, Babayan suffered substantial harm due to the defendants' wrongful conduct in using three of his copyrighted before-and-after photos to sell to their competing business to gain profit without the authority or consent of Babayan.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants have obtained wrongful profits and benefited from the infringement of his copyrights of the photos.

Babayan seeks trial by jury, actual damages, attorney fees, court costs and all other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Karl S. Kronenberger of Kronenberger Rosenfeld LLP in San Francisco.
