SAN FRANCISCO – The principal of San Francisco law firm O'Conner and Associates alleges that a corporation failed to pay in full for legal services.
John O'Connor filed a complaint on March 5 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Murphy Pearson Bradley & Feeney and Does 1-100 alleging breach of contract and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 3, 2016, the defendant retained him for a legal matter. The suit states an invoice was presented to the defendant in July 2016 for $33,592.50 but only a $5,000 check was received.
The plaintiff holds Murphy Pearson Bradley & Feeney and Does 1-100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to perform obligation under the contract and failed to pay plaintiff for the expert services he rendered in full.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants for damages in the sum of $30,649.19, plus interest, costs of suit, and further relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Jeffrey D. Kirk and Jessica Shafer of O'Connor and Associates in San Francisco.
