Deliveryman files suit against dog owner after alleged attack

SAN FRANCISCO – A deliveryman alleges he was injured when a dog attacked him during a delivery at a San Francisco residence.

Mohammad Baktash filed a complaint on April 9 in the Superior Court of California - County of San Francisco against Benjamin Kleine alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 30, 2016, he was injured when he was delivering a package to defendant's home when defendant's dog ran out the front door and attacked him. He alleges that as a result, he suffered lost wages, damages and medical expenses.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof, plus costs of suit, and for such relief as is fair, just and equitable. He is represented by Whitey D. Ackerman of Nadrich & Cohen LLP in Los Angeles.
