Obdulia S Jewelry alleged to sell counterfeit Ray-Ban, Oakley products

SAN DIEGO – A San Ysidro business is alleged to have sold counterfeit Ray-Ban and Oakley products.

Luxottica Group, S.P.A. and Oakley Inc. filed a complaint on May 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against Obdulia S Jewelry; and Does 1-10 over alleged trademark infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Obdulia S Jewelry has wrongfully imported, distributed and advertised counterfeit Ray-Ban and Oakley products.

The plaintiffs hold Obdulia S Jewelry responsible for allegedly using, promoting and otherwise advertising, distributing, selling and/or offering for sale counterfeit products with the knowledge and intent that such goods will be mistaken for the genuine products.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek award of applicable interest amounts, costs, disbursements and attorneys' fees, award of profits, damages and such other relief as may be just and proper. They are represented by Brent H. Blakely and Jessica C. Covington of Blakely Law Group in Manhattan Beach.
