Consumer claims solicitation calls from Septic Savior, Septic Maxx invaded privacy

Phone 01

LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles County consumer alleges that a telemarketer has invaded his privacy with its solicitation calls.

Eddie Cressy filed a complaint individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated on May 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Septic Maxx LLC, Septic Savior LLC and Does 1-10 citing the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff purchased a product from the defendants several years prior to when they contacted him in December 2017 to solicit him to purchase products. He alleges he has told the defendants to stop calling but they continue to do so and invade his privacy.

The plaintiff holds Septic Maxx LLC, Septic Savior LLC and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly continued to make calls despite plaintiffs' explicit demand to stop the improper calls and unlawfully utilized an automatic telephone dialing system and/or an artificial or pre-recorded voice.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants, $500 in statutory damages for each and every violation, treble damages of $1,500 for each and every violation, and all other relief that the court deems just. He is represented by Todd M. Friedman, Adrian R. Bacon, Meghan E. George and Thomas E. Wheeler of Law Offices of Todd M. Friedman PC in Woodland Hills.
