Lawsuits
Car accident 25

FRESNO – Two individuals allege they were injured in a collision in Caruthers.

Marcelino Chavez Lopez and Martina Chavez-Lopez filed a complaint on May 15 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Simran Kaur Chehal, Simarjit Kaur and Does 1 through 50 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on March 2, 2017, they were involved in a collision allegedly caused by the defendants while operating their 2015 Kia Optima vehicle near the intersection of Marks and Henderson avenues in Caruthers.

The plaintiffs hold Chehal, Kaur and Does 1 through 50 responsible because the defendants allegedly operated the Kia in a negligent, careless and reckless manner to cause the collision.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment for general and special damages, costs of suit, attorney's fees and for such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Laura Lynn Davidson, Jesse E. French, Adina A. Ostoia and Jubin J. Niamehr of Akiva Niamehr LLP in Los Angeles.
