FRESNO – Two consumers have filed a suit over allegations of fraud against a Fresno car dealership.

Jessica Janet Celis and Erick Leonardo Arriaga filed a complaint on May 22 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Paul Blanco's Good Car Co. Fresno Inc., Paul Blanco, et al. alleging fraud, violation of the Consumers Legal Remedies Act.

According to the complaint, on June 7, 2015, the plaintiffs purchased a 2012 Honda Civic from Paul Blanco's Good Car Co. Fresno Inc. They allege that when they were negotiating over the vehicle, Paul Blanco's Good Car Co. Fresno told them they needed to purchase optional products in order to obtain financing or represented the products were included in the case price. They allege this representation was knowingly false.

The plaintiffs also allege Paul Blanco's Good Car Co. Fresno fabricated their income in order to qualify them for financing and allege they have been damaged.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants for general and punitive damages, disgorgement of one year of profits worth $28 million, rescission of the purchase contract, incidental and consequential damages, injunctive relief, interest, attorney's fees, costs of suit, and further relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Kasra Sadr and Nima Heydari of The Sadr Law Firm APLC in San Diego.
