FRESNO – Two individuals allege they were injured when their vehicle was rear-ended in Fresno County.

Raul Rios and Rosalinda Valdez filed a complaint on May 30 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Marcelina Lemus-Flores alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on May 7, 2017, the plaintiffs were traveling in a vehicle on Kings Canyon Avenue near its intersection with Willow Avenue in Fresno County when the defendant rear-ended their vehicle.

The plaintiffs hold Lemus-Flores responsible because the defendant allegedly drove her vehicle at a speed that compromised her ability to safely slow or stop before striking the plaintiffs' vehicle.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendant for compensatory damages according to proof. They are represented by Edward D. Fanucchi and David M. Moeck of Quinlan, Kershaw & Fanucchi in Fresno.
