FRESNO – Two individuals allege they were injured when their vehicle was rear-ended in Fresno.

Ezequiel Venegas and Graciela Venegas filed a complaint on June 12 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Anthony Dominique Payne alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on April 8, 2017, the plaintiffs were traveling northbound on state Route 99 in Fresno when the defendant rear-ended their vehicle, causing it to overturn down a grassy embankment. They allege they were injured as a result of the collision.

The plaintiffs hold Payne responsible because the defendant allegedly drove his vehicle at a high rate of speed and breached a duty of care.
