Coastline Transport alleges borrower defaulted on lease, failed to return equipment

FRESNO – A company alleges it is owed nearly $80,000 for an equipment lease.

Coastline Transport Inc. filed a complaint on June 19 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Epifanio Trejo Rodriguez, doing business as CT Transport, and Does 1-10 alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an equipment lease agreement. The plaintiff alleges the defendant has paid $32,750 for the lease, but $79,250 is still owed and the lease is now in default. The plaintiff also alleges that the defendant has failed to return the equipment.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for damages in an amount no less than $79,250, interest, costs of suit, and for such relief is fair and just. It is represented by Richard A. Harris of Wild, Carter & Tipton in Fresno.
