Allstate seeks subrogation from Fresno residents over auto accident damages

FRESNO – An insurance company is seeking nearly $100,000 from two Fresno residents over an auto accident.

Allstate Insurance Co. filed a complaint on July 9 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Juan Jose Hinojos, Eddie Tommy Rubio and Does 1-100 seeking subrogation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff paid its insured Ines Hernandez $98,376.84 after a vehicle accident allegedly caused by defendants. 

The plaintiff now seeks that amount from the defendants, according to the suit.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for the principal sum of $98,376.84, plus costs of suit, and for such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by Lee M. Mendelson and Marc A. Schwarz of Mendelson Goldman & Schwarz APC in Sherman Oaks.
