Former The Wine Group employee alleges he was not timely paid wages

FRESNO – A Reedley man alleges that his former employer failed to properly pay him his minimum wages.

Alfred B. Ramos filed a complaint on Sept. 5 in the Fresno County Superior Court against The Wine Group LLC for allege violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, between Aug. 12, 2011, and March 14, 2018, Ramos was an employee of defendant. He alleges the defendant failed to timely pay his wages and failed to pay him a minimum wage. He also alleges he was not paid overtime wages and provided meal breaks.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for damages of no less than $20,000, plus treble damages not less than $10,000, and for any and all further relief that the court deems just and proper. He is representing himself.
