FRESNO – A debt collector alleges that more than $28,000 is owed for the payment of an insurance policy.

Creditors Adjustment Bureau Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 5 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Baldev Singh Sangha, doing business as Quick Stop Mini Mart, et al. alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, on Aug. 20, 2015, the plaintiff's assignor, State Compensation Insurance Fund, and the defendants entered into a written agreement to provide for a policy of insurance.

However, despite State Compensation Insurance Fund performing everything on its part under the policy and defendants accepting the insurance, the defendants allegedly have failed to pay the balance due and owing.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for the sum of $28,286.43, together with interest, costs of suit, attorney's fees, and for such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by Kenneth J. Freed and David E. Weeks of Law Offices of Kenneth J. Freed in Sherman Oaks.
