Pedestrians file suit against Hyundai owner over alleged injuries

FRESNO – A mother has filed a suit on behalf of herself and her two minor children after they were allegedly injured by a vehicle while walking in Coalinga.

Allen Aguilar, Josue Aguilar, minors, and Ana Aguilar filed a complaint on Sept. 7 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Erika Rios, Hector Rios, Sylvia Rios and Does 1-50 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Sept. 12, 2016, Allen Aguilar and Josue Aguilar were walking lawfully across Baker Street near Fillmore Street in Coalinga. The suit states the defendants, who either owned, operated, entrusted, and/or controlled a Hyundai ELN in such a negligent and careless manner so as to cause harm and injury to the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendants for general and special damages, expenses, costs of suit and further relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Edward A. Quesada of Attorney At Law in Covina.
