SAN FRANCISCO – A commuter alleges she was injured on a bus in San Francisco when the doors closed on her.
Assimina Mavromatis filed a complaint on Oct. 1 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Storer Transit Systems and Does 1-10 alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 2, 2016, while she was attempting to get on the bus operated by the defendants at Geary Boulevard and 9th Avenue in San Francisco, the bus driver closed the doors and the doors stuck plaintiff.
As a result of the alleged negligence of defendants' employee, the plaintiff alleges she was injured in her health, strength and activity and incurred medical expenses.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants for general and special damages, costs of suit and further relief as the court may deem proper. She is represented by Thomas A. Nuris in Daly City.
