STOCKTON – A debt collector alleges a San Joaquin County consumer has not made a payment on an account for three years.

Midland Funding LLC filed a complaint on Oct. 4 in the San Joaquin Superior Court against Hugo Rea and Does 1 through 10 citing account stated.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff purchased a debt from Synchrony Bank in December 2016 allegedly owed by the defendant. The suit states the balance of the account at the time of charge off was $2,663.51 and no payment has been made on the account since May 2015.

The plaintiff holds Rea and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the balance due despite demand for payment.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for the unpaid balance of $2,663.51, plus costs of suit, and such other relief as the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by Jack H. Pogosian, Kristy Gabrielova, Nichol Alan de Guzman and Hyo Jin Julia Jung of Midland Funding in San Diego.
