Midland Funding alleges consumer owes more than $7,000 on account

STOCKTON – A San Joaquin County resident is alleged to have failed to pay on an account previously owned by Citibank.

Midland Funding LLC filed a complaint on Oct. 4 in the San Joaquin County Superior Court against Kristin Lingenfelter and Does 1-10 citing account stated.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 29, 2017, it purchased plaintiff's account from original creditor Citibank NA with an account balance at the time of charge-off in the amount of $7,600.19.

The suit states the defendant last made a payment on the account in March 2017 and has failed to pay the balance due.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for the unpaid balance of $7,600.19, costs of suit, and other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Jack H. Pogosian, Kristy Gabrielova, Nichol Alan De Guzman, Hyo Jin Julia Jung and Meline Grigoryan of Midland Funding in San Diego.
