SAN FRANCISCO — A former employee is suing Pedro's Moving Services Inc. and Does 1-10, alleging she is due unpaid wages, and that the company violated the minimum wage law and worker compensation act.

Jennifer Diaz filed a complaint on Oct. 3, in the San Francisco County Superior Court against the defendants alleging that they failed their duties to pay employee the proper minimum wage.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she has suffered monetary damages from lost earnings, as a result of the unlawful business practice of the defendants.

She alleges that the defendants failed or refused to pay her salary during her final three weeks of work, plus $500 of non-discretionary weekly bonuses. She also alleges that the defendants failed to provide her with any wage statements throughout her employment.

The plaintiff holds Pedro's Moving Services Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff all wages owed plus bonuses, and failed to provide plaintiff with compliant and accurate itemized wage statements.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for all unpaid wages, restitution, liquidated damages, civil and statutory penalties, attorney's fees, costs, interest, and further relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Nicholas J. Scardigli of Mayall Hurley APC in Stockton.
