FRESNO – A customer of a Fresno tile store alleges she believes an employee took intimate photos or video of her while she was shopping.

Melody Reddie filed a complaint on Oct. 11 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Bedrosians Tile & Stone, Angel Gutierrez and Does 1 through 100 alleging negligence, invasion of privacy and other counts.

According to the complaint, on June 8, Melody Reddie and her husband were customers at the defendant's store and were being assisted by Gutierrez. She alleges she was wearing a dress that day and was looking at tile when she felt something touch the back of her inner thigh and heard a snapshot sound. She alleges she noticed Gutierrez had a cellphone in his hand and believes he took pictures or video of her underneath her dress.

The plaintiff claims she complained to Bedrosians about the incident but the defendant allegedly never sought to confiscate the phone or report the incident to the authorities.

The plaintiff holds Bedrosians Tile & Stone, Gutierrez and Does 1 through 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to supervise, train, investigate and prevent the alleged acts of taking intimate photos of customers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages, costs of attorneys' fees, and such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper. She is represented by Todd B. Barsotti of Todd B. Barsotti, A Professional Law Corporation in Fresno.
