FRESNO – A player for the San Antonio Spurs is alleged to have failed to pay a Los Angeles sports marketing and talent management company expenses it incurred on his behalf.

Wasserman Media Group LLC filed a complaint on Oct. 12 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Quincy Pondexter and Does 1 through 5 alleging breach of oral contract.

According to the complaint, between 2010 and 2017, the plaintiff represented the defendant in connection with his professional basketball career. It alleges the defendant failed to pay $113,617.13 it expended on his behalf.

The plaintiff holds Pondexter responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to pay and denied all responsibility under the oral contract.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages on all accounts in the amount of $113,617.13, compensatory damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of suit, and such other relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Bert H. Diexler and Sarah E. Moses of Kendall Brill & Kelly LLP in Los Angeles.
