STOCKTON – A mother and daughter allege they were injured in Stockton when another driver failed to stop at a red light.

Monica Arroyo, individually and as guardian ad litem for Arianna Bolanos, a minor, filed a complaint on Oct. 26 in the San Joaquin Superior Court against Rhonda Bishop; Daren Arnold and Does 1 to 30 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on April 28, Arroyo was operating her vehicle in which her daughter, Bolanos, was riding as a passenger when their vehicle was allegedly struck by the defendants' vehicle in Stockton.

The suit states Bishop failed to stop at a red traffic signal and unlawfully entered the intersection.

As a result, the plaintiffs claim they've suffered hospital and medical expenses, loss of earning capacity and other damages.

The plaintiffs seek judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. They are represented by William J. Gorham III of Mayall Hurley PC in Stockton.
