SAN FRANCISCO – A bus driver alleges he was terminated by his San Francisco employer over his complaints of unpaid wages.
Arya Khosravi filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Blue Bus Tours Co. and Does 1 through 25 alleging wrongful termination and other counts.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was hired as a driver for the defendants in 2013. He alleges in March 2017, he told his supervisors and the company's president that more than 300 hours were missing from his paychecks and that his complaints were ignored. The suit states the plaintiff's lawyer contacted the defendant Aug. 30, 2017, requesting his payroll records and personnel file.
The suit states the following month, the plaintiff was removed from the work schedule and he considered his employment terminated.
The plaintiff holds Blue Bus Tours Co. responsible because the defendant allegedly wrongfully and unlawfully retaliated against plaintiff for complaining about the company's refusal to pay his earned wages.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for unpaid wages, punitive damages, costs of suit, and such other and further relief as the court may deem juts and proper. He is represented by Bryan J. McCormack of McCormack & Erlich LLP in San Francisco.
