SAN FRANCISCO – A pedestrian is seeking damages from a driver after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing in a San Francisco crosswalk.

Fiza Najeeb filed a complaint on Nov. 14 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Antonio Pasquale Accardo and Does 1 through 100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 6, 2016, Najeeb was lawfully walking eastbound within a marked crosswalk across The Embarcadero in San Francicso when she was struck by a motor vehicle being operated by Accardo.

As a result, the plaintiff alleges she sustained serious injuries to her knee.

The plaintiff holds Accardo and Does 1 through 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly negligent and careless in the driving, operation, use, maintenance, ownership, entrustment, servicing and controlling of an 2016 Audio A7 so as to substantially and proximately cause it to collide with plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for general and special damages, prejudgment interest, costs of suit, and such other and further relief as the court may deem proper. She is represented by Justin Chou of Walkup, Melodia, Kelly & Schoenberger in San Francisco.
