SAN FRANCISCO – A pedestrian alleges defects in a San Francisco sidewalk caused her to trip.

Margaret Hardgrave filed a complaint on Nov. 14 in the San Francisco Superior Court against The Ramallah Club Inc. and the city and county of San Francisco alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 20, while walking in front of 1951 Ocean Ave. in San Francisco, which was operated by the defendants, she tripped on several defects in the sidewalk and was injured.

The plaintiff holds The Ramallah Club Inc. and the city and County of San Francisco responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain the sidewalk in a reasonably safe condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Edward C. Casey Jr. of Law Offices of Edward C. Casey Jr. in Oakland.
