OROVILLE – A driver alleges she was injured in a rear-end collision in Chico.
Naiqi Jin filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in the Butte Superior Court against Lisa Dawn Vogel alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, on Nov. 29, 2016, Jin was driving her vehicle southbound on state Route 99 in Chico and stopped in response in traffic in front of her. The suit states Vogel failed to stop and rear-ended Jin's vehicle. As a result, plaintiff claims she sustained injuries, lost use of property and medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Vogel responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently operated her vehicle.
The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Steve Gimblin of Law Offices of Steve Gimblin in Yuba City.
