Driver alleges her vehicle was sideswiped by Conti Materials Service vehicle

SACRAMENTO – A motorist is seeking damages from a Stockton company and its driver over a collision on a state route.

Ruby Johnson filed a complaint on Dec. 7 in the Sacramento Superior Court against Conti Materials Service LLC, Gabriel Alvarez Arana and Does 1 through 20 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 25, 2016, Johnson was driving eastbound on state Route 4 in San Joaquin County when her vehicle was sideswiped on the left side by defendants' vehicle, causing injuries and damages. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendants negligently entrusted, managed, maintained, drove and operated the vehicle so as to cause the collision with plaintiff's vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for damages, incidental expenses, prejudgment interest, costs of suit, and such other and further relief as the court deem just and proper. She is represented by Robert M. Nelsen of Dreyer Babich Buccola Wood Campora LLC in Sacramento.
