Driver seeks damages from individual over San Francisco auto accident

SAN FRANCISCO – A driver alleges he was injured in a collision in San Francisco.

Veni Toia filed a complaint on Dec. 3 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Pronchien Stacy Gaupan and Does 1 through 50 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 15, 2016, Toia was traveling on Octavia on-ramp in San Francisco when his vehicle was struck by defendant Gaupan's 2014 Toyota Camry and he was injured.

The plaintiff holds Gaupan responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently operated the subject motor vehicle so as to cause the vehicle to collide with plaintiff's vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorneys' fees, costs of suit and for such other and further relief as the court may deem fair and proper. He is represented by Robert A. Piering, John D. Beals and Sukhtej Atwal of Piering Law Firm in Sacramento.
