FRESNO – A woman is seeking damages from two construction companies after fall allegedly caused by a ramp at a Fresno location.

Carla Gholston filed a complaint on Dec. 4 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Lyles Diversified, American Paving Co. and Does 1 to 20 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 15, 2016, she tripped and/or fell on defendants' construction site ramp at the Fulton Mall in Fresno. She alleges she sustained injuries to her back, legs and neck as a result.

The plaintiff holds Lyles Diversified, American Paving Co. and Does 1-20 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to warn invitees of the dangerous condition of the ramp and failed to ensure that the ramp was safe for invitees to use or walk on.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Stanley S. Ma in Fresno.
