SAN FRANCISCO – An individual alleges she was injured when she slipped on wet mud-set at a San Francisco construction site.
Charise Rosenthal filed a complaint on Dec. 7 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Carson Yu, individually and as trustee of The Carson Yu and Irene Lee Yu Revocable Trust, et al. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, on May 2, 2017, after taking measurements and inspecting one of the rooms adjacent to the landing area being constructed by defendants in San Francisco, Rosenthal exited a room and slipped on wet mud-set. She alleges she injured herself in an attempt to avoid falling.
The plaintiff claims she was unaware of the wet mud-set because it did not look any differently to her than dried concrete as she exited the room.
The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to notify, warn or otherwise alert her to the presence of the wet mud-set in the area of the landing area without any warning signs, cones, caution tapes, or other manner of barricading the area.
The plaintiff seeks judgment for general damages, interest, costs of suit, and such other and further relied as the court may deem proper. She is represented by Joshua M. West of Smith Dollar PC in Santa Rosa.
