OROVILLE – A driver and passenger are seeking damages from a Contra Costa County man over an auto accident that occurred in Oroville.

Lupe Solorzano and Anthony Rodriguez filed a complaint on Dec. 6 in the Butte Superior Court against Frank David Pearson and Does 1-10 alleging that the defendant operated his vehicle in a negligent manner.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 8, 2016, Solorzano was driving her 2002 Ford Expedition with Rodriguez as her passenger in Oroville when their vehicle struck in the rear by defendant Pearson's vehicle, causing injuries.

The plaintiffs hold Pearson responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to slow down and caused his vehicle to collide with the rear of the plaintiff's vehicle.

The plaintiffs seek judgment for damages, prejudgment interest, all costs of suit and such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Anh Phoong of Phoong Law Corp. in Sacramento.
