Pedestrian seeks compensatory damages from driver over collision in San Francisco crosswalk

SAN FRANCISCO – A pedestrian is seeking damages from a motorist after she was struck in a San Francisco crosswalk.

Leyli Sargsyan filed a complaint on Dec. 18 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Henry Moody alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 18, 2017, Sargsyan was in the marked crosswalk crossing Divisadero Street along Jackson Street in San Francisco when she was allegedly ran over by defendant Moody's vehicle. 

The suit states she was violently thrown in the air and then slammed to the ground, causing her suffer great bodily harm and multiple severe permanent injuries. 

The plaintiff holds Moody responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages, costs of suit, and such relief as is fair, just and equitable. She is represented by Anna Dubrovsky of Anna Dubrovsky Law Group Inc. in San Francisco.
