FRESNO – Two allege they were injured in a rear-end collision in Sonora.

Jose Barajas Ochoa and Maria Ochoa filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Samantha Ashley Bressley and John E. Bressley alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 1, 2017, the plaintiffs were traveling on state Route 108 in Sonora in their 2015 Toyota CRV when they came to a complete stop as traffic began to slow down. They allege Samantha Ashley Bressley rear-ended their vehicle, causing injuries and property damage.

The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because Samantha Ashley Bressley allegedly failed to recognize that traffic ahead was slowing down and was unable to stop before the collision.

The plaintiffs seek judgment for compensatory damages, costs of suit, and such relief as is fair, just and equitable. They are represented by Eddie C. Torres of Law Office of Eddie C. Torres in Manteca.
