Woman alleges brain injury after bus was hit by trolley in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO – A woman alleges she was injured while getting out of a bus when it was rear-ended by a trolley in San Francisco.

Anna Mims filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against city and county of San Francisco, Hai Nguyen Ngo, Rodrigo Manansala Arellano and Does 1-20 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 6, 2017, she was injured while disembarking the SF Muni Bus No. 5486 when it was rear-ended by SF Muni Torpedo Trolley No. 1015 due to a brake failure. She alleges she sustained a traumatic brain injury and other injuries.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants for compensatory damages, costs of suit and other relief as is fair and just. She is represented by Anna Dubrovsky of Anna Dubrovsky Law Group Inc. in San Francisco.
