SAN FRANCISCO – Property owners in San Francisco County allege water from a neighboring property is causing damage.

Kenny Lew and Sharon Wong filed a complaint on Dec. 19, in the San Francisco County Superior Court against James Jew, Miu Yee Yee, et al. alleging negligence and trespass.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs and defendants are neighbors and the defendants' light well abuts the plaintiffs' property. The plaintiffs allege that insufficient drainage from the defendants' property has caused water damage to theirs.

The plaintiffs hold James Jew, Miu Yee Yee, et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently caused water to enter their residence.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants for compensatory damages, interest, attorney's fees, costs, punitive damages, injunctive relief and further relief as the court may deem just. They are represented by Hoa T. Cooc of Law Offices of Hoa T. Cooc in Oakland.
