SAN FRANCISCO – A Daily City resident alleges he was injured when he was struck by a San Francisco city and county employee while riding his bicycle.

Christian Miller filed a complaint on Dec. 28 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Juan Francisco Ceballos, the city and county of San Francisco and Does 1-100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 10, 2018, he was riding his bicycle southbound on Barneveld Avenue in San Francisco when Cebellos, an employee of the city and county, collided with him while operating a vehicle.

The plaintiff holds Ceballos, the city and county of San Francisco and Does 1-100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed their duties to own, maintain, operate and entrust the vehicle in a safe manner.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants for economic and non-economic damages, costs of suit, interest and further relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Maryanne B. Cooper, Miles B. Cooper and Jonathan C. Harriman of Emison Hullverson LLP in San Francisco.
