FRESNO – Three individuals are seeking damages from an Uber driver over alleged injuries from a Fresno collision.

Nicholas Gentleman, Cosette Harper and Matthew Gentleman filed a complaint on Jan. 16 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Mary Pruitt, Pamela Kay Pruitt, Rasier LLC, doing business as Uber, et al. alleging negligent entrustment and negligent supervision.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Jan. 16, 2017, their vehicle was struck by a vehicle owned by Pamela Kay Pruitt and driven by Mary Pruitt at the intersection of Palm and Beechwood avenues in Fresno. The suit states Mary Pruitt was working for the Rasier defendants at the time of the collision.

The plaintiffs hold Mary Pruitt, Pamela Kay Pruitt, Rasier LLC, et al. responsible because Mary Pruitt allegedly failed to stop and yield to oncoming traffic.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendants for compensatory damages, costs of suit and other relief as is fair and just. They are represented by Roger S. Bonakdar of Bonakdar Law Firm in Fresno.
