OROVILLE – Three individuals are seeking damages over a collision that occurred on a state route in Alpine.

Maria de la Torre, Francisco de la Torre and Isabel Jimenez Corona filed a complaint on Jan. 24 in the Butte Superior Court against Karen Elizabeth Carver and Karen Elizabeth Photography alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 14, 2017, the plaintiffs were traveling on state Route 88 east of the Amador County line in Alpine when their vehicle was struck by defendants' vehicle.

The plaintiffs hold Carver and Karen Elizabeth Photography responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain control of their motor vehicle while driving on a mountainous highway.

The plaintiffs seek judgment for compensatory damages, costs of suit, and for such relief as is fair, just and equitable. They are represented by Arash Khorsandi of The Law Offices of Arash Khorsandi, PC in Los Angeles.
