FRESNO – A Fresno County woman is seeking a declaration from the court that she is the sole owner of a property in the county.

Janet L. Seibert, as trustee of the Janet Louise Seibert Trust, filed a complaint for quiet title on Jan. 18 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Wendy Seibert and Does 1-20.

According to the complaint, the real property in question is 60 acres of largely undeveloped land in Fresno County. The plaintiff alleges she is the sole and exclusive owner of the property and that the defendants wrongfully assert a claim to own 20 acres of the property.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants currently occupy some of the property without the plaintiff's consent and the trespass has caused her harm.

The plaintiff is seeking a declaration that she is the sole and exclusive owner of the property.

The plaintiff seeks declaratory judgment, award of damages, costs, and such other and further relief as the court deems appropriate. She is represented by James B. Betts and Joseph D. Rubin of Betts & Rubin in Fresno.
