Man seeks damages from Bonaventure Mobile Home Park, others over fall on stairs

FRESNO – A man alleges he was injured while using the stairs at a Clovis property in a fall.

Kenneth Comer filed a complaint on Jan. 23 in the Fresno County Superior Court against New Bonaventure LLC, doing business as Bonaventure Mobile Home Park; LaCumbre Management Co. Inc.; and Randall Guerra alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 15, 2017, Comer was injured while using the stairs attached to the unit of the defendants' manager, Guerra. He alleges he tripped or slipped while using the stairs and sustained personal injuries.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly were negligent and careless with the ownership, operation, design and construction of the stairs.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages, costs of suit and such relief as is fair, just and equitable. He is represented by Edward B. Chatoian of Law Offices of Edward B. Chatoian in Fresno.
