Former employee alleges The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California violated labor codes

FRESNO – A former employee of an auto service garage alleges he was not provided itemized wage statements in violation of state labor codes.

Miguel Cisneros, as an individual and on behalf of all others similarly situated, filed a complaint on Jan. 24 in the Fresno County Superior Court against The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California and Does 1 through 20 for allege violations of the California Labor Code.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 26, 2006, Miguel Cisneros began his employment with defendant and worked as a non-exempt employee until he was terminated on Dec. 17, 2018. 

The plaintiff holds The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack of California responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide itemized wage statements and did not provide a final wage statement at the time of his termination.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for damages and/or penalties, attorneys' fees, costs, and such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Larry W.
