Bullivant Houser Bailey alleges client owes nearly $900,000 for legal services

SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco law firm alleges a Berkeley man failed it pay it in full for its services.

Bullivant Houser Bailey PC filed a complaint on Jan. 29 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Warren Havens alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, on May 19, 2015, Bullivant Houser Bailey PC entered into a written attorney-client agreement with the defendant to represent him in a legal matter. Pursuant to the agreement, the plaintiff alleges it performed its legal services and billed defendant for the services rendered. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to pay the full amount owed and $896,630.01 remains due and owing.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for damages in the amount of $896,630.01, plus continuing accrual of interest, costs for suit, and such other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Ronald L. Richman of Bullivant Houser Bailey PC in San Francisco.
