SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco attorney alleges a client failed to pay for his services in a family dispute.

John A. Kithas filed a complaint on Jan. 30 in the San Francisco Superior Court against James C. Palma, Old Republic Title Co. and Does 1 through 20 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 12, 2016, Kithas and Palma executed an attorney-client fee agreement wherein plaintiff would represent Palma in a case dispute with Palma's sister over their mother's testamentary trusts.

Plaintiff claims he did all of the things that the agreement required him to do, but the defendant has failed to pay for the services. The plaintiff alleges he is owed $103,769.39.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages of $103,769.39, plus interest, costs of suit and for such other and further relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by Christopher Land of Law Offices of John A. Kithas in San Francisco.
