FRESNO – A patron of a Clovis store alleges it failed to warn of liquid on the floor that caused her to fall.

Ana Leah Aguayo filed a complaint on Feb. 13 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Walmart Inc., Walmart Store No. 2277 and Does 1-25 alleging premises liability and negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 9, 2017, while she was walking through defendant’s store at 323 W. Shaw Ave., Clovis she slipped and fell on a liquid substance on the floor and was injured.

The plaintiff holds Walmart Inc., Walmart Store No. 2277, and Does 1-25 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to warn invitees about the dangerous condition on its premises and failed to correct the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants, legal interest, damages for lost income, special and general damages, court costs and further relief as the court may deem just. She is represented by Ron Torem, Yigal J. Torem and Richard H. Rabkin of Torem & Associates in Los Angeles.
