SACRAMENTO - Ruby N. Thomas filed a federal complaint on August 20 in the Eastern District of California against Costco Wholesale Corporation and Does 1-50 for premises liability and negligence.
According to the complaint, on July 1, 2019, Thomas was exiting a Costco Wholesale when she slipped and fell on an unknown wet substance and sustained bodily injury. Thomas alleges that it is at the fault of Costco for not maintaining safe premises for customers, and the negligence of the staff for not cleaning up the unknown substance that caused her to fall.
