Mercedes Jimenez, represented by Shawn K. Elliott of Lyfe Law, LLP, has filed a lawsuit against Shamail Aslam and Does 1 to 100 in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco (Case No. CGC-24-613905) on April 12, 2024. The suit alleges motor vehicle negligence and general negligence resulting in personal injury and damage to property.
The plaintiff asserts that on October 28, 2022, while driving westbound on 13th street approaching the intersection of Harrison Street in San Francisco, her vehicle was struck by a vehicle operated by the defendant. She alleges that the defendants violated traffic safety rules and regulations leading to the accident. The principal amount in controversy exceeds $25,000.
Jimenez seeks damages for injuries sustained to her body and nervous system causing physical, mental and nervous pain, suffering and anguish. She also claims damages for medical expenses incurred for treatment of these injuries.
